Acoustic Foam for Generators, Compressors and Industrial Enclosures
Generators, compressors and blowers create noise that operators and neighbouring spaces feel every day. Open-cell polyurethane acoustic foam absorbs sound energy inside canopies and cabinets, helping projects meet quieter operating targets.

Where industrial acoustic foam is used
Common applications include generator canopies, air compressor enclosures, blower housings, engine compartments and electrical control panels. Parts can be supplied as sheets or die-cut panels that follow enclosure geometry.
Pairing acoustic and filtration foam
Many machinery packages need both: acoustic lining for noise and reticulated foam for intake dust control. MeshFLO supplies both families and can die-cut each to the same project drawing set.
Frequently asked questions
Is acoustic foam the same as reticulated filter foam?
No. Acoustic grades are optimised for sound absorption. Reticulated filter foams are optimised for airflow and particle capture. We help you specify each correctly.
